Ariana Grande was in Singapore for the international debut of Wicked: For Good

Devoted followers of the actress are urging that a individual who breached a fence and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram profile features videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last winter.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another response on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to meet the actors of Wicked

Numerous of fans had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore venue, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The movie, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part version of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
