Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
